Clotianidin is moderately toxic to warm-blooded animals, low-toxic to fish and aquatic vertebrates, with the exception of insects. Do not spray near water protection zones. Moderately toxic to earthworms.

Instructions for use of the drug assumes a single pre-sowing treatment of seed material. Such a procedure can be performed in advance. The consumption of the working solution is from 10 to 25 liters per ton of the product to be pickled, depending on the treated crop.

When processing vegetative plantings, choose windless dry days, in the morning or in the evening.

Safety precautions when working with Clotianidin

Class 3 toxicity for humans means that when working with the drug, the following rules must be observed:

  1. Wear closed clothing and shoes.
  2. Use personal protective equipment: mask, goggles and gloves.
  3. Do not eat, drink or smoke while working.
  4. When spraying, make sure that the suspension does not get on the skin and mucous membranes. If this happens, rinse immediately with running water. In case of contact with eyes, rinse and seek medical advice. If swallowed, induce vomiting and visit a medical facility urgently.
  5. After spraying or etching, change clothes and shoes, take a shower, and thoroughly cleanse your face and hands.

When using "Clotianidin" it is necessary to ensure that there are no strangers, children or animals in the immediate vicinity of the processing site. You should also try in every possible way to avoid using the product at the time of the departure of the bees, since the drug is extremely toxic for them.

What is it compatible with?

Clothianidin is compatible with most insecticides, fungicides, herbicides and fertilizers. However, when mixing mixtures, it is necessary to carefully check the compatibility of a particular composition each time. If the mixture "curls up", flakes, clots are formed in it, or a gaseous substance is released, a new smell appears, it is not recommended to use the resulting composition - the consequences may be unexpected.

Storage conditions

Store "Clotianidin" in a cool, dry, protected from direct sunlight, preferably in a dark place.

The room should be inaccessible to unauthorized persons, and the containers with the product should be tightly closed and labeled as an insecticide.

Do not allow the drug to fall into the hands of children, as well as spray in areas where pregnant women, pets and farm animals have access.

Insecticide analogs

On the basis of the active substance clothianidin, dozens of insecticides are produced:

  1. Borey Neo.
  2. Modesto Plus.
  3. "Poncho".
  4. Taboo Neo.
  5. Scenic Combi.
  6. "Emesto Quantum" and others.

Clotianidin is an effective insecticide that protects plants at an early stage of development from being eaten by gnawing and sucking pests, and also saves from the twentieth century scourge - the Colorado potato beetle, and the cruciferous flea that destroys sugar beet plantations.
