The use of cyproconazole prevents the development of rust fungi, septoria, powdery mildew and a number of other diseases on crops that can ruin plantings and future crops.
Composition and release form of the systemic fungicide cyproconazole
The substance belongs to systemic pesticides. It has healing, protective and eradication capabilities. Belongs to the chemical class of triazoles. It is a white, odorless crystalline substance. Well soluble in organic solvents. It has thermal and photo stability. Solutions with cyproconazole do not change their properties when exposed to sunlight.
The product is supplied to the market in the form of a suspension of various concentrations (from 0.06 to 40%) or an emulsion concentrate (3%). It is packaged in ampoules for use in summer cottages and polymer cans with a capacity of 5 liters for the treatment of large areas. The drug "Alkor" contains 400 grams / liter of cyproconazole.

Purpose and mechanism of action
The product is intended for dressing seeds, protecting plants from fungal infection and treating infected crops. Ciproconazole quickly penetrates into all parts of the plant, spreading acropetally (from the roots to the top), basipetally (from the top down to the lateral leaves), has a translaminar effect - it is able to penetrate into the leaf plate through its upper layers. It passes from one surface of the leaf to another, the therapeutic effect when spraying infected plants occurs 15-20 minutes after treatment.
It is used for processing spring and winter crops of wheat, barley, millet, rye. It is used to protect against fungal infection of grapes, sugar beet crops, spraying of fruit trees, on coffee plantations. Able to fight fungal diseases:
- powdery mildew;
- various types of rust;
- all kinds of smut.
Suppresses the process of biosynthesis, penetrating the intercellular membranes of the fungus, preventing its spread. Effectively destroys the emerging infection, quickly accumulating in plant tissues.

Spraying of plants is carried out with the working solution of the preparation. The concentrate is mixed with 1/3 of the recommended volume of water with constant stirring, then the amount of liquid is brought to the required volume with water.

Seed treatment is carried out in special dressing machines. Spraying of crops is carried out at least one month before harvesting. Mechanical work on the plots is allowed after 3 days after spraying the plantings.
Safety precautions when using the drug
Depending on the species, preparations with cyproconazole can have a hazard class 2 or 3 for humans (strong or moderate toxicity) and a hazard class 3 for bees. The working solution is prepared at sites specially equipped for working with pesticides. They are located away from residential and agricultural buildings.
All work on seed dressing and spraying of plants is carried out by personnel who have undergone safety instructions for the use of pesticides. The staff is provided with protective suits, goggles, rubber gloves. Do not smoke or eat during work.
When working on personal plots, preparations are diluted in containers not intended for food products. They wear tight clothes with long sleeves, protect their hands with rubber gloves, and protect their eyes with glasses or a protective screen. The hair is covered with a kerchief or cap. At the end of the treatment, the exposed areas of the body are washed with water, the clothes are washed. The sprayer is freed from the residues of the product, all its parts are washed and dried.
