Pear - (Pyrus, or in translation "natural product") is a popular and common tree in our gardens. It is valued for its juicy fruits, intensive growth and the ability to harvest for the winter. And pear wood is equal in quality to an ebony tree. It has gained a modern variety of species thanks to the long-standing work of breeders. After all, the wild pear found in nature is small and tart. Among the 5 thousand of its new varieties, one of the favorite gardeners was the pear "August dew", bred in 2002 by the Scientific Research Institute named after Michurin and intended for cultivation in the Central Black Earth Region.
This summer pear variety was obtained by crossing winter-hardy and very resistant to many diseases varieties "Tenderness" with the Australian "Triumph of Pakgama", characterized by early maturity, high yield and good fruit taste.
The tree "August dew" is low, grows quickly, its crown is of medium density, slightly drooping. The bark is gray and smooth. Her buds are conical in shape, they quickly wake up after winter. The shoots of this pear are thick, small, curved, with numerous lentils.
